Intent of Practice

My work is the exploration of why there is the belief that photographs have to be of reality while at the same time questioning the very nature of what an image is with abstract photographic processes. To capture moments and visual qualities able to produce an emotional response, causing the audience to feel the enjoyment of art for the grace of pure art. Transforming scenes and objects, the un-noticed or the well-known, with bright colours or one of many other techniques, allowing me to play as a creative with no boundaries apart from light. A new way of seeing using all that the photographic medium can offer to capture the light.
